Choosing PREMIUM, CLASSIC, or BASIC

Start with the motion, not the part number.
- PREMIUM — oscillation or rotation at speed, or a linkage system. Integral roller or ball insert. Radial clearance measured on every piece.
- CLASSIC — heavy sliding duty, often maintenance-free. VORBAL-Glide liner, or a pressed bearing that can be greased. Food, packaging, washdown.
- BASIC — standard machine duty and hydraulic/pneumatic cylinder ends. Best cost for a known envelope.
Then pick bore, thread (male/female, left/right), steel or stainless, and whether grease is allowed.
