CLASSIC Line
Maintenance-free heavy-duty spherical-plain bearings with VORBAL-Glide — used in food plants and other industrial sectors.
CLASSIC Line rod ends carry an integrated, pressed spherical-plain bearing. The VORBAL-Glide variant is maintenance-free. The fixed version is relubricatable. Sizes follow series K, E/EH, and inch; spherical-plain bearings extend to series K, E, and G.
VORBAL-Glide is a polyamide-PTFE-glass sliding layer. It runs dry, encapsulates particles that get in, and is thicker than a typical liner — which is why food, packaging, and other contamination-prone plants specify it.
Where it is used
Food processing (including onboard fish processing), chocolate and ice-cream plant, packaging lines, and general mechanical engineering where grease near product is not wanted. Stainless CLASSIC parts are catalogued for washdown.
What you specify
- Maintenance-free rod ends and spherical-plain bearings with VORBAL-Glide.
- Relubricatable CLASSIC heads where a grease path is required.
- Stainless when corrosion or hygiene drives the housing choice.
