Lubrication and maintenance
Relubricatable VORBAL joints are supplied with grease nipples where the series allows it. Use a compatible aluminium-complex or lithium soap grease unless a food-grade fill is specified. Maintenance-free Glide versions must not be solvent-washed.
Hydraulic rod ends follow the cylinder maker’s grease practice. BASIC steering-damper sizes are usually sealed for life.
